4 days till I'm home! And I haven't packed my luggage yet! Argh. Ok, I have to stop. I'm freaking out. But I'm so excited! I hope I don't do something stupid like miss my plane. Really keeping myself active and busy these days. I'd like to be in the Singapore Society executive committee, and I've got to show my committment and what I can do and contribute to the society. I went for the Traffic Light Party. It was a lot of fun. I was the first to arrive because of some freak bus driver who decided to be on time for once and follow the timetable. Clarence Dock isn't very far from Bar38 where it was held. Nice place. Didn't drink much. Honest! Used to drink only cocktails but I tried shooters and they weren't bad. It was just over too quickly. Finished editing my Tort essay. Had to shrink it from 2000+ words to 1500. Have to hand it in tomorrow by 4pm. Trying to update my homepage now. Realised I haven't touched it in ages. I've been really making use of ICQ lately. I've gotten to know many people better through it. Celine's now my very good friend! I can share stuff with her. It's really uncanny, but I think we were sisters in our past life. Why do I say that? Well, she's doing law in Leeds, and so am I. No big deal. We both have younger brothers. Still nothing very special. But both our fathers work in Tuas, our mothers have the same kind of job and are both left-handed. What's more, our families have the same kind of car! Talk about strange! I've started something new with Celine. We've been giving code names to people. Walls have ears y'know. Taking the names from mythology. Fun. I feel like a teenager in secondary school and JC all over again. I can't wait to go home! P/S: I'm going to be the MC for the Singsoc Dinner and Dance next year! Argh. Hate being on display! |
