I still have several more hours before I call a cab and leave for Leeds-Bradford airport. I won't be sleeping. I'll just hang around on the internet and read the papers online or something. As I think, I type. This is a very new experience. Sort of. My previous journal entries were all done in my little book first, then typed into my computer.

My room is a mess. I'll have to tidy it up abit before I leave or when I get back I'll spend days doing it and not have time to do some last minute revision for my exams. I've been trying frantically to stuff everything into my luggage. My mum told me that the giant ziploc bags are on top of my cupboard and I can put my clothes in them and suck out the air using a vacuum cleaner so that they'll take up less space. Unfortunately, I can't find them. I searched high and low and swallowed a lot of dust probably, but I couldn't find them. Ugh. I need a bigger luggage. I shall get one before I fly back to Leeds.

I'll miss my room. I haven't been here very long, but it's very 'me' now. And altho' I've stayed in thie room for no more than 3 months, it's all I have to call my own personal and private space. I don't consider the communal kitchen and corridor as mine.

I'll miss my computer that's for sure. I'm a geek, what can I say. I want a personal digital assistant for christmas too. Mum offered to get me the Compaq handheld PC but I don't need that.

I've been going downtown alot these past couple of days. Lots of shopping to do, buying gifts, etc. I'm not really complaining since I like shopping. Just yesterday and the day before also, I was down at the Kirkgate market. An interesting place. Sells cheap stuff. Food, clothes, shoes, handphone accessories, and lots more. There's an indoor part and an outdoor part. I've also gone to watch a couple of movies. I love movies. The Grinch and Charlie's Angels. I want to be one of Charlie's angels too! Argh. They lead such incredibly exciting lives.

I tried broadcasting live from my webcam just now. It was cool. But it felt like I was being watched. And I most probably was. Reminds me of a story I was once told about how in future it is very possible that no part of your life will be 'private'. There'll be cameras all over the place to monitor you and your activities. You're bring observed all the time. Scary stuff.
