Went to McDonald's today. They have a nice "express lane" system. You order at one place, move down the lane, pay, then go to the end of the lane and pick up your food at the counter. Not bad! It's for those who want to order Happy Meals or Extra Value Meals. But they don't seem to like to use trays very much. Whether you eat in or out, they use their recycled paper bags and bag your food. I find it a waste of good recycled bags.

Besides, if they had trays and stuff, they could employ more people - more jobs for the older folks or something. Heard there's a high unemployment rate in UK.

Today was not a good day. It is the longest day of the week to me. 3 lectures! No surprise there. I feel lazy. That's not good! I have tons to do, and they aren't just academic work! Tomorrow, we have "buddies night" at a club called Po Na Na. Cute name. Doubt I'd be going. We're supposed (the Law faculty that is) to go and pair up with a Year 2 buddy so that you can ask him or her all the questions you want regarding schoolwork or whatever. Apparently, there'll be free cocktails and drink offers. It's a big motivator for some of the folks in the faculty.

I think I shall stay home and cross-stitch tomorrow afternoon.
