Wow, I've been lazy haven't I. Haven't been writing in this for ages. Anyway, I didn't do much today. Had 2 seminars. One tutor of mine is quite scary, keeps picking on people and he told us that there's no hiding here, because there's nowhere to hide. It was a very small group. I'd better go prepare the next seminar soon. Wouldn't want to be caught not knowing my stuff! Later today, in the evening, I'll be going back to school for an audition. Yes, I've decided that I might want a part in this play based in 11th century Japan.
Lectures and more lectures on Tuesday and Wednesday. I attended the Mooting finals last night. It looked really fun, you get to try your hand at advocacy. The Moot Court Room DID look like a court room. I think a lot of essential skills can be learnt from this mooting thing. Anyway, free drinks at The Courtyard every wednesday night from now on for Law society members. Did I pay £44 for membership to get free drinks only?? My personal tutor is now the Faculty head! Yay! I think I'm allergic to something, either that or the cold wind is really hurting my face. My cheeks look funny. Kind of reddish like I fell and scraped it or something. Oww. Oh, and I bought a pair of shoes (from a shop called Oasis.. not related in any way to the Brit band) and another wallet (from Topshop). It looks nice! I am now using the new wallet which I bought in Singapore (from Mango!!). I really miss walking around the shopping malls in Singapore... I catch myself imagining that it's Saturday or something and I'm walking around Takashimaya or Suntec City, doing the things I always do at those places, like a virtual reality trip, at night before bed. Weird. 11:58pm [UK] ; 6:58am [Singapore]
It was loads of fun! Everyone was nice and friendly. The play's kind of interesting. With a weirdo wife character (I'd like to do this part), her husband (who was murdered), a bandit (Tajomaru), a wigmaker, and a medium (voodoo type priestess person). There were other characters, but we weren't really told much about the play. Well, I rehearsed with a guy called Thomas first, then along came another fella (can't for the heck of me remember his name.) Next, we had to do solo bits (I was the wife for the group thing) and I did the "soul-voice" of the husband or rather the medium (really weird). I left the place at about 8:30pm I think. but it was a lot of fun. We did some warm-up games which were fun also. I love theatre! I love drama! Anyway, results will be out on Monday. I wouldn't be too upset if I didn't get it. I went for the experience and the fun, and I got what I had wanted. I will retire to bed now. Am tired and it's late. HEY! I just realised I've written in this book earlier today! Gosh. I forgot. Wow. My brain's going. Ok. Nighty. |
